     Lt.-Col. Gerald Andrew Agnew was born on 18 December 1835.1 He was the son of Sir Andrew Agnew of Lochnaw, 7th Bt. and Madeline Carnegie.1 He married Margaret Cunninghame Bonar, daughter of William Bonar, on 19 May 1870.1 He died on 16 May 1927 at age 91.1
     Lt.-Col. Gerald Andrew Agnew gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 90th Light Infantry.1 He fought in the Siege of Lucknow, in the first relief force, and then during the second siege, where he was wounded.1

     Major Archibald Campbell was born on 16 December 1878.2 He was the son of Archibald James Campbell and Isabella Catherine Fairlie.1,2 He married Eva Mary Agnew, daughter of Lt.-Col. Gerald Andrew Agnew and Margaret Cunninghame Bonar, on 18 July 1906.1 He died on 5 September 1965 at age 86.1
     Major Archibald Campbell was educated at Sedbergh School, Sedbergh, Cumberland, England.2 He fought in the Boer War in 1900.2 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Army Educational Corps.2 He fought in the First World War.2

     Archibald James Campbell was born on 26 April 1842.2 He is the son of Alexander Campbell, 1st of Auchendarroch and Harriet Agnes Marian Keir.2 He married Isabella Catherine Fairlie, daughter of Lt.-Col. James Ogilvy Fairlie, on 10 October 1867.2 He died on 27 August 1885 at age 43.2
     Archibald James Campbell was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 74th Highlanders.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Lochgilphead Volunteer Artillery.2 He lived at Auchendarroch, Ayrshire, Scotland.1
