     Thomas Manners, 1st Earl of Rutland was the son of George Manners, 11th Lord de Ros of Helmsley and Anne St. Leger.1 He married, secondly, Eleanor Paston, daughter of Sir William Paston and Anne Beaufort.2 He married Elizabeth Lovell between 21 February 1512 and 1513. He died on 27 September 1543.
     Thomas Manners, 1st Earl of Rutland gained the title of 1st Earl of Rutland. He succeeded to the title of 12th Lord de Ros of Helmsley [E., 1299] on 23 October 1513.1

     Olive Sherrington is the daughter of Sir Henry Sherrington. She married Sir John Talbot, son of Sir John Talbot and Elizabeth Wrottesley, on 13 September 1574.
     Her married name became Talbot.
