     Gerald Yorke Carmichael-Anstruther was born on 24 January 1871.¹ He was the son of Windham George Conway Carmichael-Anstruther and Ellen Anne Katharine Adam.¹ He married Ellen Caroline Milne, daughter of J. Milne, in 1900.¹ He died on 28 June 1910 at age 39.¹

     Ellen Caroline Milne was the daughter of J. Milne.¹ She married Gerald Yorke Carmichael-Anstruther, son of Windham George Conway Carmichael-Anstruther and Ellen Anne Katharine Adam, in 1900.¹ She died in 1902.¹

     Sir Windham Eric Francis Carmichael-Anstruther, 11th and 8th Bt. was born on 29 May 1900.¹ He was the son of Gerald Yorke Carmichael-Anstruther and Ellen Caroline Milne.¹ He married, firstly, Fay Sibyl Marie Rechnitzer, daughter of Ernest Rechnitzer, on 4 April 1932.¹ He and Fay Sibyl Marie Rechnitzer were divorced in 1948.¹ He married, secondly, Joanne Coates, daughter of William Coates, on 26 July 1948.¹ He died in 1980.¹
     Sir Windham Eric Francis Carmichael-Anstruther, 11th and 8th Bt. was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.¹ He succeeded to the title of 8th Baronet Anstruther, of Fort William, Bengal [G.B., 1798] on 29 November 1928.¹ He succeeded to the title of 11th Baronet Anstruther, of Anstruther and of Elie House, co. Fife [N.S., 1700] on 29 November 1928, and from 1817 "of Carmichael and Westraw, co. Lanark."¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lanarkshire in 1940.¹ He was Group Commandant of the 34 and 38 Gorup, Royal Observer Corps.¹
     On his death, his Great Britain baronetcy became extinct, but his Nova Scotia baronetcy passed to a very distant cousin, Ralph Hugo Anstruther of that Ilk.¹

     Fay Sibyl Marie Rechnitzer is the daughter of Ernest Rechnitzer.¹ She married Sir Windham Eric Francis Carmichael-Anstruther, 11th and 8th Bt., son of Gerald Yorke Carmichael-Anstruther and Ellen Caroline Milne, on 4 April 1932.¹ She and Sir Windham Eric Francis Carmichael-Anstruther, 11th and 8th Bt. were divorced in 1948.¹
     From 4 April 1932, her married name became Carmichael-Anstruther.¹

     
     Ernest Rechnitzer lived at Warninglid Grange, Haywards Heath, Sussex, England.¹ He lived at 45 Charles Street, London, England.¹

     Joanne Coates was born circa 1920.² She was the daughter of William Coates.¹ She married Sir Windham Eric Francis Carmichael-Anstruther, 11th and 8th Bt., son of Gerald Yorke Carmichael-Anstruther and Ellen Caroline Milne, on 26 July 1948.¹ She died on 24 April 2006.²
     From 26 July 1948, her married name became Carmichael-Anstruther.¹
