     From before 1937, her married name became Were.1 From 2 September 1937, her married name became Anstruther.1

     Marion Frances Macgregor was born circa 1921.2 She was the daughter of Captain Ivor Macgregor.1 She married, firstly, Philip Charles Secretan before 1952.1 She married, secondly, Colonel Philip Noel Anstruther, son of Admiral Robert Hamilton Anstruther and Edith Flora Peel, on 30 July 1952.1 She died on 25 January 2004.2
     Marion Frances Macgregor also went by the nick-name of Bunty.1 From before 1952, her married name became Secretan.1 From 30 July 1952, her married name became Anstruther.1

     Arthur Wellesley Anstruther was born on 5 March 1864.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Robert Anstruther of Balcaskie, 5th Bt. and Louisa Maria Chowne Marshall.1 He married, firstly, Hon. Mary Elma Cumming-Bruce, daughter of Thomas John Hovell-Thurlow-Cumming-Bruce, 5th Baron Thurlow of Thurlow and Lady Elma Bruce, on 26 April 1893.1 He married, secondly, Louisa Adele Rose Trapman, daughter of William Hume Trapman, on 21 October 1901.1 He died on 20 October 1938 at age 74.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Fife Artillery Militia.1 He held the office of Private Secretary to the President of the Board of Agriculture and Fisheries between 1892 and 1898.1 He held the office of Chief Clerk to the Board of Agriculture and Fisheries between 1898 and 1902.1 He held the office of Assistant Secretary to the Board of Agriculture and Fisheries between 1902 and 1920.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1908.1

     Hon. Mary Elma Cumming-Bruce was the daughter of Thomas John Hovell-Thurlow-Cumming-Bruce, 5th Baron Thurlow of Thurlow and Lady Elma Bruce.1,2 She married Arthur Wellesley Anstruther, son of Lt.-Col. Sir Robert Anstruther of Balcaskie, 5th Bt. and Louisa Maria Chowne Marshall, on 26 April 1893.1 She died on 11 February 1894, without issue.2
     From 26 April 1893, her married name became Anstruther.1

Thomas John Hovell-Thurlow-Cumming-Bruce, 5th Baron Thurlow of Thurlow1

     Thomas John Hovell-Thurlow-Cumming-Bruce, 5th Baron Thurlow of Thurlow was born on 5 December 1838.2 He was the son of Edward Thomas Hovell-Thurlow, 3rd Baron Thurlow of Thurlow and Sarah Hodgson.2 He married Lady Elma Bruce, daughter of James Bruce, 12th Earl of Kincardine and Elizabeth Mary Cumming-Bruce, on 18 October 1864.2 He died on 12 March 1916 at age 77.2
     He was given the name of Thomas John Hovell-Thurlow at birth. He was with the Diplomatic Service between 1858 and 1870.2 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Thurlow of Thurlow, co. Suffolk [G.B., 1792] on 22 April 1874.2 On 6 August 1874 his name was legally changed to Thomas John Hovell-Thurlow-Cumming-Bruce by Royal Licence.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Stirlingshire.2 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Suffolk.2 He was Lord-in-Waiting between 1880 and 1885.2 He held the office of Paymaster-General in 1886.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1886.2 He was Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly Church of Scotland in 1886.2 In 1894 he was bankrupted.2 In 1910 he was bankrupted.2

     Louisa Adele Rose Trapman usually went by her middle name of Rose.1 From 21 October 1901, her married name became Anstruther.1
