     Olive Joan Arbuthnot was born on 2 April 1905.1 She was the daughter of Colonel William Patrick Arbuthnot and Olive Walker.1 She married Lt.-Col. Charles Walter Adair, son of Admiral Charles Henry Adair and Annette C. Wilson, on 28 July 1926.1 She died on 27 May 1979 at age 74.1
     From 28 July 1926, her married name became Adair.1

     Lt.-Col. Charles Walter Adair is the son of Admiral Charles Henry Adair and Annette C. Wilson.1,2 He married Olive Joan Arbuthnot, daughter of Colonel William Patrick Arbuthnot and Olive Walker, on 28 July 1926.1
     Lt.-Col. Charles Walter Adair lived at Maen House, Burton Bradstock, Dorset, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Marines.1

     Admiral Charles Henry Adair was born on 2 July 1851.2 He was the son of General Sir Charles W. Adair.2 He married Annette C. Wilson, daughter of W. H. Wilson, in 1893. He died on 9 March 1920 at age 68.2
