     John Cotes lived at Woodcote, Shropshire, England.¹

     Sir Walter Long, 2nd Bt. was baptised in 1627 at Whaddon, Wiltshire, England.¹ He was the son of Sir Walter Long, 1st Bt. and Mary Cocks.¹ He died on 21 May 1710, unmarried.¹ His will was probated in July 1710.¹
     He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn on 25 November 1644.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Wiltshire from 1671 to 1672.¹ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Long, of Whaddon, co. Wilts [E., 1661] in 1672.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bath between 1679 and 1681.¹
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.¹

     Rebecca Long is the daughter of Sir Walter Long, 1st Bt. and Mary Cocks.¹ She married Sir Philip Parker, 1st Bt.¹

     Sir Philip Parker, 1st Bt. married Rebecca Long, daughter of Sir Walter Long, 1st Bt. and Mary Cocks.¹
     He was created 1st Baronet Parker, of Arwarton, Suffolk in 1661.

     Calthorpe Long was born circa 1657.¹ He was the son of Sir Philip Parker, 1st Bt. and Rebecca Long.¹ He died in 1729.¹
     He was given the name of Calthorpe Parker at birth.¹

     Philip Lybbe Powys married Caroline Girle.²

     General Sir Charles William Adair was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).¹ He lived at Southsea, Hampshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of General in the service of the Royal Marine Light Infantry.²

     Annette C. Wilson is the daughter of W. H. Wilson.¹ She married Admiral Charles Henry Adair, son of General Sir Charles William Adair, in 1893.
      From 1893, her married name became Adair.¹
