     Sir Andrew Clarence Francis Armstrong, 6th Bt. was born on 1 May 1907.1 He was the son of Edmund Clarence Richard Armstrong and Mary Frances Cruise.1 He married, firstly, Phyllis Marguerite Waithman, daughter of Lt.-Col. Roland Henry Waithman, on 8 January 1930.1 He married, secondly, Laurel May Stuart, daughter of Alfred Wellington Stuart, on 17 June 1932.1 He died on 21 December 1997 at age 90.1
     Sir Andrew Clarence Francis Armstrong, 6th Bt. was educated at St. Edmund's, Ware, Hertfordshire, England.1 He graduated from Christ's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1928 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was a colonial administrator between 1929 and 1961.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1959.1 He succeeded to the title of 6th Baronet Armstrong, of Gallen Priory, King's Co.
