George Nesbitt Armstrong was born on 16 October 1883.1 He was the son of Charles Nesbitt Frederick Armstrong and Melba Helen Porter Mitchell.1 He married, firstly, Phoebe Georgina Frances Otway, daughter of Lt.-Col. Jocelyn Otway, on 18 December 1906.1 He and Phoebe Georgina Frances Otway were divorced in 1908.1 He married Evelyn Mary Doyle, daughter of Michael Doyle, on 20 February 1913.1 He died in 1971.1

Sir William Armyne, 1st Bt. was born on 11 December 1593.1 He was the son of William Armyne and Martha Eure.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Hicks, daughter of Sir Michael Hicks and Elizabeth Coulson, on 14 December 1619.1 He married, secondly, Mary Talbot, daughter of Hon. Henry Talbot and Elizabeth Reyner, on 28 August 1628.1 He died on 10 April 1651 at age 57.1 He was buried at Lavington, Lincolnshire, England.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 10 December 1651.1
