     Emma Isabella Wilson Souter was the daughter of Captain Thomas Alexander Souter.1 She married Colonel Edward Penfold Arthur, son of Lt.-Gen. Sir George Arthur, 1st Bt. and Eliza Ord Ussher Smith, in 1847.1 She died on 13 February 1912.1
     From 1847, her married name became Arthur.1
