     He was educated at King's School, Canterbury, Kent, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Aske, of Aughton, East Riding of Yorks [U.K., 1922] on 7 May 2001.1 He lived in 2003 at 5 Bicton Place, Exeter, Devon, EnglandG.1

     Robert Edward Aske was born on 21 March 1915.1 He was the son of Sir Robert William Aske, 1st Bt. and Edith Anne Cockerline.1 He married Joan Bingham Ackerley, daughter of Captain Eric Bingham Ackerley, on 20 January 1940.1 He died in 1999.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1

     Sir Robert William Aske, 1st Bt. was born on 29 December 1872.1 He was the son of Edward Aske.1 He married, firstly, Edith McGregor, daughter of Charles McGregor, on 17 February 1899.1 He married, secondly, Edith Anne Cockerline, daughter of Sir Walter Herbert Cockerline and Mary Ann Vivian White, on 2 June 1909.1 He died on 10 March 1954 at age 81.1
     He was a solicitor in 1894.1 He held the office of Deputy Sheriff of Hull between 1906 and 1908.1 He was appointed Knight in 1911.1 He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1914 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Territorial Army Reserve.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He was created 1st Baronet Aske, of Aughton, East Riding of Yorks [U.K.] on 21 January 1922.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Newcastle-upon-Tyne between 1923 and 1924.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Newcastle-upon-Tyne between 1929 and 1945.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Surrey.1 He graduated from London University, London, EnglandG, with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.)1 He was appointed King's Counsel (K.C.) in 1934.1 He held the office of a Bencher in 1942.1

     Sir Walter Herbert Cockerline was baptised on 17 August 1856 at Kingston on Hull, Hull, Yorkshire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of John Cockerline and Hannah Mason Jackson.2 He married, firstly, Mary Ann Vivian White in September 1878 at Hull, Yorkshire, EnglandG.2 He married, secondly, Mary Emily Lund in 1930 at Yorkshire, EnglandG.2 He died on 13 February 1941 at age 84 at Scarborough, Yorkshire, EnglandG.2
     He was owner of a fleet of tramp steamers, both before and after the First World War.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was appointed Knight in 1922.2

     Sir Conan Aske, 2nd Bt. was born on 22 April 1912.1 He was the son of Sir Robert William Aske, 1st Bt. and Edith Anne Cockerline.1 He married, firstly, Vera Rowbotham, daughter of George Rowbotham, on 13 December 1948.1 He married, secondly, Rebecca Grant, daughter of Hugh Fraser Grant, on 23 August 1965.1 He died on 7 May 2001 at age 89, without issue.1
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of Honorary Major in the East Yorkshire Regiment.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Aske, of Aughton, East Riding of Yorks [U.K., 1922] on 10 March 1954.1
