Sir Thomas Preston, 1st Bt.1

     Sir Thomas Preston, 1st Bt. was born on 29 August 1767.1 He was the son of Henry Hulton and Elizabeth Preston.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Adams, daughter of George Adams, on 26 November 1792.1 He married, secondly, Jane Bagge, daughter of Thomas Bagge and Pleasance Case, on 21 March 1799.1 He died on 21 April 1823 at age 55.2
     He was given the name of Thomas Hulton at birth.1 He was created 1st Baronet Preston, of Beeston St. Lawrence, Norfolk [U.K.] on 30 May 1815.1 He had five other daughters.1

     Reverend Edward Hulton was born in October 1771.2 He was the son of Henry Hulton and Elizabeth Preston.2 He married Pleasance Bagge, daughter of Thomas Bagge and Pleasance Case, on 10 December 1801.2 He died on 15 February 1817 at age 45.2
     He graduated with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.).1 He was the Rector at Gaywood, Norfolk, England.3
