     Commander Burrard Archibald Smith was born on 24 March 1875 at Colaba, Bombay, IndiaG.1,2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. William Smith and Emma Corrie Crozier.1 He married Edth Winifred Goodwin on 25 April 1912 at Balfour, British Columbia, CanadaG.2 He died on 3 January 1975 at age 99 at Nelson, British Columbia, CanadaG.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 31 March 1901 in the Royal Navy.2 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1

     From 15 August 1866, her married name became Dashwood.

     Reverend Robert Lewes Dashwood was born on 9 February 1840.1 He was the son of Reverend Samuel Vere Dashwood and Caroline Hammond.2 He married Edith Theresa Cooper, daughter of Rowland Edward Cooper and Theresa Burrard, on 15 August 1866.1 He died on 23 June 1912 at age 72.1
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1

     Sidney Lewes Dashwood was born on 25 November 1882.1 He was the son of Reverend Robert Lewes Dashwood and Edith Theresa Cooper.2 He married Joan Burrard, daughter of Sir Sidney Gerald Burrard, 7th Bt. and Gertrude Ellen Haig, on 19 April 1922.1 He died on 25 December 1966 at age 84.1
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Engineers (Territorial Army) and Royal Air Force.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1918.1
