     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was Honorary Attaché to Stockholm between 1932 and 1933.1 On 24 December 1934 he was granted the rank of a baron's younger son.1 He was Civil Attaché and Private Secretary to Buenos Aires between 1943 and 1946.1 He was Civil Attaché and Private Secretary to Rome in 1946.1 He was Civil Attaché and Private Secretary to Stockholm in 1947.1

Henry Charles Minshull Stockdale, son of Henry Minshull Stockdale and Florence Margaret Rose Villiers, on 10 May 1932.1 She died on 25 September 1976 at age 72.1
      Hon. Margaret Violet Henderson also went by the nick-name of Peggy.1 From 10 May 1932, her married name became Stockdale.1 On 24 December 1934 she was granted the rank of a baron's daughter.1
