     Christopher John Geoffrey Howard was born on 31 May 1922.¹ He was the son of Hon. Geoffrey William Algernon Howard and Hon. Ethel Christian Methuen.² He died on 7 October 1944 at age 22, killed in action over Germany.¹
     Christopher John Geoffrey Howard gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹ He fought in the Second World War.

     Dame Rosemary Christian Howard was born on 5 September 1916.¹ She is the daughter of Hon. Geoffrey William Algernon Howard and Hon. Ethel Christian Methuen.² She died on 22 April 1999 at age 82.¹

     Lieutenant Hon. Michael Francis Stafford Howard was born on 23 January 1880.¹ He was the son of George James Howard, 9th Earl of Carlisle and Hon. Rosalind Frances Stanley.² He married Nora Hensman, daughter of Colonel William Hensman, on 30 November 1911.¹ He died on 9 October 1917 at age 37, killed in action.¹
     Lieutenant Hon. Michael Francis Stafford Howard fought in the Boer War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 18th Hussars, Reserve Officers.¹ He fought in the First World War.

     Nora Hensman was the daughter of Colonel William Hensman.² She married Lieutenant Hon. Michael Francis Stafford Howard, son of George James Howard, 9th Earl of Carlisle and Hon. Rosalind Frances Stanley, on 30 November 1911.¹ She died on 23 November 1961.¹
     Nora Hensman held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Folkestone.¹ Her married name became Howard.

     Lieutenant Eric Bertram Howard was born on 26 February 1917.¹ He was the son of Lieutenant Hon. Michael Francis Stafford Howard and Nora Hensman.² He died on 22 February 1943 at age 25, killed by the Japanese after escaping from a Prisoner of War camp, and being recaptured.¹
     Lieutenant Eric Bertram Howard fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 80th Anti-Tank Regiment, Royal Artillery.¹

     Geraldine Mary Howard was born on 26 February 1917.² She is the daughter of Lieutenant Hon. Michael Francis Stafford Howard and Nora Hensman.¹ She married, firstly, Frederick Hume Jackson, son of Maj.-Gen. George Hanbury Jackson, on 18 December 1943.² She married, secondly, Dr. Hugh Reginald Jolly, son of Rev. Canon Reginald Bradley Jolly, on 28 April 1944.²
     Geraldine Mary Howard graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.).² She graduated with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.S.).² She was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.).² She was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.).² From 18 December 1943, her married name became Jackson. Her marriage to Frederick Hume Jackson was annulled in 1944.² From 28 April 1944, her married name became Jolly.

     Lady Mary Henrietta Howard was born in 1865. She was the daughter of George James Howard, 9th Earl of Carlisle and Hon. Rosalind Frances Stanley.² She married George Gilbert Aimé Murray, son of Sir Terence Aubrey Murray, on 30 November 1889.¹ She died on 2 September 1956.¹
     Her married name became Murray.
