     Joan Mary Harford is the daughter of Frederic Dundas Harford and Amy Mary Josephine Stourton.¹ She married Major Sir George Bannerman of Elsick, 11th Bt., son of Sir George Bannerman of Elsick, 10th Bt. and Anne Mary Brooke, on 12 May 1920.¹
     From 12 May 1920, her married name became Bannerman.¹

     Eve Mary Bannerman was born on 12 March 1921.¹ She is the daughter of Major Sir George Bannerman of Elsick, 11th Bt. and Joan Mary Harford.¹ She married Thomas Cecil Leyburn Symmes, son of Major H. C. Symmes, on 27 January 1951.¹
     From 27 January 1951, her married name became Symmes.¹ She lived in 2003 at 39 Karu Crescent, Waikanae, New Zealand.¹

     Thomas Cecil Leyburn Symmes was the son of Major H. C. Symmes.¹ He married Eve Mary Bannerman, daughter of Major Sir George Bannerman of Elsick, 11th Bt. and Joan Mary Harford, on 27 January 1951.¹ He died in 1991.¹
     Thomas Cecil Leyburn Symmes usually went by his middle name of Cecil.¹
