     Jean Boyle was the daughter of John Boyle of Kelburn and Marion Craufurd.1 She married William Barclay of Pierston, son of William Barclay of Pierston and Isobel Hamilton, on 24 May 1592.1 She died in July 1631.1
     From 24 May 1592, her married name became Barclay.1

     John Boyle of Kelburn was the son of Patrick Boyle of Polruskane and Agnes Fraser.2 He married Marion Craufurd, daughter of Hugh Craufurd of Kilbirnie.2 He died on 1 August 1611.2
     John Boyle of Kelburn lived at Kelburn, Ayrshire, Scotland.2 He was also known as John Boyle of Polruskane.2 He had five other daughters, who were all married.2

     William Barclay of Pierston was the son of Robert Barclay of Pierston.1 He married unknown Houstoun, daughter of Sir Ludovic Houstoun of that Ilk.1 He died circa 4 July 1661, without issue.1
     On 9 January 1643/44 he had a Crown charter of Pierston.1 On 5 September 1644 he was retoured heir to his father.1
