     John Boyle of Kelburn was the son of John Boyle of Kelburn and Marion Craufurd.1 He married Agnes Maxwell, daughter of Sir John Maxwell of Pollok, on 9 March 1611.1 He died in 1650.1
     John Boyle of Kelburn held the office of Commissary of Glasgow.1 He held the office of Rector of Glasgow University in 1630.1
