Sir Walter de Berkeley of Towie is the son of Sir Patrick Berkeley.1
Sir Walter de Berkeley of Towie was burgess of Perth.1 He fought in the Battle of Dunbar on 27 April 1296, where he was captured by the English.1 On 1 August 1322 he received a Crown charter of Towie, Turrif, Aberdeenshire.1 In 1323 he had a Crown charter of Kainzie, in THaneage of Balhelvie, Aberdeenshire.1
