     Sir Joseph Barrington, 1st Bt. was born on 21 February 1764.1 He was the son of Matthew Barrington and Jane Canter.1 He married Mary Baggott, daughter of Daniel Baggott, in 1787.1 He died on 10 January 1846 at age 81.1
     He founded the hospital in Limerick bearing his name, along with sons.1 He was created 1st Baronet Barrington, of the City of Limerick [U.K., 1831] on 30 September 1831.1

     Major John William Barrington was born on 28 October 1917.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Frederick Barrington and Christine Mary Stella Kuhling.1 He married, firstly, Annie Wetten, daughter of Florian Wetten, on 19 September 1948.1 He married, secondly, Evelyn Carol Paterson Broten, daughter of Oscar Broten, in 1986.1 He died on 8 January 1999 at age 81.1
     Major John William Barrington was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Irish Irish Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Palestine Campaign in 1939.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1943, serving in Italy, and captured as a POW.1

     Lt.-Col. John Frederick Barrington was born on 30 August 1881.1 He was the son of Colonel Joseph Thomas Barrington and Emma Evans.1 He married Christine Mary Stella Kuhling, daughter of C. Kuhling, on 15 April 1916.1 He died on 10 April 1961 at age 79.1
     Lt.-Col. John Frederick Barrington fought in the Somaliland Campaign between 1902 and 1904.1 He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1919, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was decorated with the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1919.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Artiller.1 He was decorated with the Coronation Medal in 1937.1 He fought in the Second World War, in the occupying troops in Trinidad.1

     Colonel Joseph Thomas Barrington was born on 4 September 1834.1 He was the son of Daniel Barrington and Anne Williams.1 He married Emma Evans, daughter of Thomas Evans, on 14 December 1861.1 He died on 24 February 1913 at age 78.1
