Sir Thomas Barrington, 2nd Bt. was invested as a Knight before 1621.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newtown between 1621 and 1629.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Barrington, of Barrington Hall [in Hatfield Broadoak], co. Essex [E., 1611] on 3 July 1628.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Essex between April 1640 and May 1640.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Colchester between 1640 and 1644.1
