     Sir Francis Laurence John Barrow, 4th Bt. was born on 11 August 1862.¹ He was the son of Sir John Croker Barrow, 3rd Bt. and Emily Jane Merriman.¹ He married, firstly, Winifred Sarah Steward, daughter of William Crozier Steward, on 7 January 1890.¹ He married, secondly, Edith Townsend, daughter of William Townsend, on 21 April 1932.¹ He died on 9 June 1950 at age 87.¹
     Sir Francis Laurence John Barrow, 4th Bt. was an architect and ornithologist.¹ He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Barrow, of Ulverstone, co. Lancaster [U.K., 1835] on 23 September 1900.¹

     Winifred Sarah Steward was the daughter of William Crozier Steward.¹ She married Sir Francis Laurence John Barrow, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Croker Barrow, 3rd Bt. and Emily Jane Merriman, on 7 January 1890.¹ She died on 21 February 1932.¹

Lancaster [U.K., 1835] on 9 June 1950.¹

     Cuthbert Joseph Barrow was born on 24 May 1900.¹ He was the son of Sir Francis Laurence John Barrow, 4th Bt. and Winifred Sarah Steward.¹ He died on 4 October 1900 at age 0.¹

     Alfred Francis Lendon Barrow was born on 12 May 1904.¹ He was the son of Sir Francis Laurence John Barrow, 4th Bt. and Winifred Sarah Steward.¹ He married Ruth Mary Milsum, daughter of William Sydney Milsum, in 1933.¹ He died on 29 April 1989 at age 84.¹
