     Nathaniel Hone was born in 1807.1 He was the son of Joseph Hone and Mary Crosthwaite.1 A settlement for the marriage between him and Anna Maria Mangin was made on 20 February 1839.1 He died on 13 February 1880, without issue.1
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He was director of the Bank of Ireland.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Dublin in 1870.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Dublin.1 He lived at 1 Fitzwilliam Square, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1
