     Madeline Batho was born on 3 October 1901.1 She was the daughter of Sir Charles Albert Batho, 1st Bt. and Bessie Parker.1 She married Leslie Somerville Gathergood, son of Benjamin William Gathergood, on 9 July 1925.1 She died on 22 December 1968 at age 67.1
     From 9 July 1925, her married name became Gathergood.1 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the City of Birmingham in 1947.1
