Sir Peter Bath, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Luke Bath, 1st Bt. and Cicely Dowdall.1 He and Margaret Talbot obtained a marriage license on 2 March 1684/85.1 He died on 10 May 1686, without male issue.1 His will (dated 10 May 1686) was probated on 12 February 1686/87.1
Sir Peter Bath, 2nd Bt. succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Bath, of Athearne, co. Meath [I., 1666] in 1674.1
On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

Margaret Talbot was born before 1670. She was the daughter of John Talbot.1 She and Sir Peter Bath, 2nd Bt. obtained a marriage license on 2 March 1684/85.1 She died between June 1732 and June 1733.1 Her will (dated 2 June 1732) was probated on 8 June 1733.1
