Colonel James Corry was born circa 1634.1 He was the son of John Corry and Blanch Johnston.1 He married, secondly, Lucy Mervyn, daughter of Henry Mervyn, in 1683.1 He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Harryman in 1692.1 He married, firstly, Sarah Anketell, daughter of Captain Oliver Ancketill and Rebecca (?), in February 1663.1,2 He died on 1 May 1718.1
