     From 25 November 1884, her married name became Tyrwhitt.1

     Lt.-Cdr. Lionel Rupert Knyvet Tyrwhitt was born on 9 August 1903.1 He was the son of Major Hon. Rupert Tyrwhitt and Louise Isabel Frances Wells.1 He married Kathleen Mary Pauline Kenna, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Paul Aloysius Kenna, V.C., on 11 September 1936.1 He died on 26 March 1942 at age 38, killed in action.1
     Lt.-Cdr. Lionel Rupert Knyvet Tyrwhitt gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches four times.1 He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 He was decorated with the award of Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.).1 He was captain of the H.M.S. Jaguar.1

     Hon. Philip Bourchier Tyrwhitt gained the rank of Sub-Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the Inland Water Transport.1
