Colonel Robert Wilson, 9th Lord Berners was baptised on 20 January 1761.1 He was the son of Henry William Wilson and Mary Miller.1 He died on 25 March 1838 at age 77, unmarried.1 His will was probated in May 1838.1
Colonel Robert Wilson, 9th Lord Berners gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the British Army.1 He succeeded to the title of 9th Lord Berners [E., 1455] on 7 May 1832, by writ, after the abeyance was terminated in his favour.1 He was Master of the Foxhounds.2 In 1837 he won the Derby, with his horse Phosphorus, at odds of 40-1.2 He lived at Didlington Hall, Norfolk, England.2 He lived at Ashwellthorpe, Norfolk, England.2

Mary Letitia Crump was born on 25 March 1800.1 She was the daughter of Colonel George Crump and Mary Wilson.1 She married Henry William Wilson, 11th Lord Berners, son of Henry Wilson, 10th Lord Berners and Elizabeth Sumpter, on 24 February 1823.1 She died on 30 September 1856 at age 56 at Keythorpe Hall, Leicestershire, England, without issue.1
