     Major Christopher Montagu Blackett was the son of Edward Algernon Blackett.1 He married Evelyn Blackett, daughter of John Charles Blackett and Emily Jane Cockcraft, on 24 February 1902.1 He died on 16 March 1940.1
     Major Christopher Montagu Blackett gained the rank of Major in the service of the Rifle Brigade.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1
