     Charity Whit is the daughter of Robert Whit.1 She married, firstly, William Leche.1 She married, secondly, Charles Howard, 2nd Earl of Nottingham, son of Sir Charles Howard, 1st Earl of Nottingham and Katherine Carey, on 19 May 1597.1
     Her married name became Leche.1 From 19 May 1597, her married name became Howard.1
