     William Shand, 2nd of Craigellie was born circa 1739. He was the son of James Shand, 1st of Craigellie and Jean Russell.1 He married Helen Ogilvie, daughter of William Ogilvie and Helen Baird, on 19 February 1767 at Banff, Banffshire, ScotlandG.1 He died in 1810 at Banffshire, Scotland.

     Helen Ogilvie was baptised on 6 January 1740/41 at Banff, Banffshire, ScotlandG.2 She was the daughter of William Ogilvie and Helen Baird.2 She married William Shand, 2nd of Craigellie, son of James Shand, 1st of Craigellie and Jean Russell, on 19 February 1767 at Banff, Banffshire, ScotlandG.1 She died on 26 April 1819 at age 78.
     From 19 February 1767, her married name became Shand.1

     Edith Marguerite Harrington usually went by her middle name of Margot.1 From 22 April 1916, her married name became Shand.1 From 1921, her married name became Tippet.3

     William Howard, 3rd Baron Howard of Effingham was born on 27 December 1577.1 He was the son of Charles Howard, 1st Earl of Nottingham and Katherine Carey.1 He married Hon. Ann St. John, daughter of John St. John, 2nd Baron Saint John of Bletso and Catherine Dormer, on 7 February 1596/97.2,3 He died on 28 November 1615 at age 37 at Hampton, London, EnglandG.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Howard of Effingham, co. Surrey [E., 1554], in the lifetime of his father.3
