     Reverend George Powell Irby was born on 26 August 1838.1 He was the son of Rev. Hon. Paul Anthony Irby and Wilhelmina Powell.1 He married Emma Sarah Bransby Aubert, daughter of John Lewis Aubert, on 23 September 1869.1 He died on 20 April 1910 at age 71.1
     He was the Vicar between 1883 and 1892 at Weedon, Buckinghamshire, England.1 He was Chaplain between 1897 and 1903 at Nantes, Bretagne, France.1 He was Chaplain between 1903 and 1910 at Dinan, France.1
