     Margaret Home married Patrick Hepburn, 3rd Earl of Bothwell, son of Adam Hepburn, 2nd Earl of Bothwell and Lady Agnes Stewart, after October 1543.1
     As a result of her marriage, Margaret Home was styled as Countess of Bothwell after October 1543. From after October 1543, her married name became Hepburn.1
