     Sir Robert de Ferrers, 3rd Lord Ferrers (of Chartley) was born on 25 March 1309 at Chartley, Staffordshire, England.2 He was the son of Sir John de Ferrers, 1st Lord Ferrers (of Chartley) and Hawise Muscegros.2 He married, secondly, Joan de la Mote.3 He died on 28 August 1350 at age 41.1
     He gained the title of 3rd Lord Ferrers, of Chartley [E., 1299].
