Alicia Mary Dorothea Knatchbull-Hugessen was born posthumously on 18 February 1893.1 She was the daughter of Edward Hugessen Knatchbull-Hugessen, 1st Baron Brabourne of Brabourne and Ethel Mary Walker.1 She married Major Hon. Bernard Clive Pearson, son of Sir Weetman Dickinson Pearson, 1st Viscount Cowdray and Annie Cass, on 14 October 1915.1 She died on 15 January 1974 at age 80.1
     From 14 October 1915, her married name became Pearson.1

     Major Hon. Bernard Clive Pearson was born on 12 August 1887.3 He is the son of Sir Weetman Dickinson Pearson, 1st Viscount Cowdray and Annie Cass.1,2 He married Hon. Alicia Mary Dorothea Knatchbull-Hugessen, daughter of Edward Hugessen Knatchbull-Hugessen, 1st Baron Brabourne of Brabourne and Ethel Mary Walker, on 14 October 1915.1 He died on 22 July 1965 at age 77.3
     Major Hon. Bernard Clive Pearson usually went by his middle name of Clive.1 He was educated at Rugby College, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.3 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1908 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).3 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Sussex Yeomanry.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Sussex in 1940.3 He was chairman of British Overseas Airways Corporation between 1940 and 1943.3
