Anna Maria Elizabeth Southwell was the daughter of Reverend Marcus Richard Southwell and Cecilia Jane Johnson.1 She married Edward Hugessen Knatchbull-Hugessen, 1st Baron Brabourne of Brabourne, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Edward Knatchbull, 9th Bt. and Fanny Catherine Knight, on 19 October 1852 at St. Stephen's, St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England.1 She died on 26 May 1889 at 3 Queen Anne's Gate, London, England.1 She was buried at Smeeth, Kent, England.1 Her will was probated on 26 June 1889, at £594.1

Cecil Marcus Knatchbull-Hugessen, 4th Baron Brabourne of Brabourne was born on 27 November 1863.1 He was the son of Edward Hugessen Knatchbull-Hugessen, 1st Baron Brabourne of Brabourne and Anna Maria Elizabeth Southwell.1 He married Helena Regina Frederica von Flesch Brunningen, daughter of Hermann von Flesch Brunningen, on 8 November 1893.1 He died on 15 February 1933 at age 69, while at sea.1
