     Phyllis Rosemary Parsons was born on 8 April 1918. She is the daughter of Arthur David Clere Parsons and Doris Cookson.2 She married, firstly, Ian Stanley Akers-Douglas, son of George Alexander Akers-Douglas and Doris Christopherson, on 12 July 1945.1 She married, secondly, Major John Anthony Cobham Shaw, son of Captain John Leslie Morton Shaw, on 9 October 1965.1
     From 12 July 1945, her married name became Akers-Douglas. From 9 October 1965, her married name became Shaw.1 She lived in 2003 at 1 Garden Cottages, Amesbury Abbey, Amesbury, Wiltshire, England.1
