     George Brown was born on 11 September 1833 at Maidstone, Kent, England.1 He was the son of Joseph Brown and Elizabeth (?).1 He married Helen Emma Wontner, daughter of Joseph Wontner and Emma Christian, on 22 November 1864 at Old Gravelpits Chapel, Hackney, London, England.1 He died on 6 December 1874 at age 41 at Hastings, Sussex, England.1 He was buried at Abney Park Cemetery, Stoke Newington, London, England.1

      From 14 August 1873, her married name became Nash.1

     Algernon Joseph Wontner was born on 24 July 1846 at Oakfield House, Ebley, Gloucestershire, England.1 He was the son of Joseph Wontner and Emma Christian.1 He married Mary Hannah Dennis, daughter of Reverend John Dennis, on 8 August 1889 at Clapton, London, England.1 He died on 26 February 1922 at age 75 at Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England.1
     He was registered as a Freeman of the City of London and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Feltmakers in 1873.1 He founded the firm of Wontner & Renwick (later Wontner, Dolphin & Francis), Stockbrokers.1 He was registered as a a Member of London Stock Exchange.1
