     William Anness was born circa 1799.1 He was the son of William Anness and Elizabeth Wontner.1 He died on 28 March 1800.1 He was buried at Bunhill Fields.1

     Elizabeth Wontner was born on 1 February 1774 at Half Moon Alley, Bishopsgate, London, England.1 She was the daughter of John Wontner and Ann Wheeler.1 She was also reported to have been born in January 1776 at Bishopsgate, London, England.1 She married William Anness, son of William Anness and Martha Mills, on 11 September 1794 at St. Mary's, Whitechapel, London, England.1 She died on 1 December 1814 at age 40 at 102 Cheapside, London, England.1 She was buried at Bunhill Fields.1
     From 11 September 1794, her married name became Anness.1
