     Jane Christian was born on 5 August 1749 at Ewanrigg Hall, Dearham, Cumberland, England.1 She was the daughter of John Christian and Jane Curwen.1 She married William Blamire, son of William Blamire, on 23 July 1784 at Brancaster, Norfolk, England.1 She died on 15 March 1837 at age 87 at Thackwood Nook, Cumberland, England.1
     From 23 July 1784, her married name became Blamire.1

     William Blamire was born at Hollinbush, Dalston, Cumberland, England.1 He was the son of William Blamire.2 He married Jane Christian, daughter of John Christian and Jane Curwen, on 23 July 1784 at Brancaster, Norfolk, England.1 He died on 29 January 1814 at Thackwood Nook, Cumberland, England.1
     William Blamire graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.). He was a naval surgeon.1

     Mary Pattenson was born in 1778 at Melmerby Hall, Cumberland, England.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Pattenson.1 She married Reverend Humphrey John Hare, son of Reverend Edward Hare and Frances Christian, on 16 July 1801.1 She died on 18 March 1817.1

     Jane Curwen was born circa 1730 at Workington Hall, Cumberland, England.1 She was the daughter of Eldred Curwen and Julian Clenmore.1 She married John Christian, son of John Christian and Bridget Senhouse, on 28 September 1745.2 She died on 24 April 1772 at Ewanrigg Hall, Dearham, Cumberland, England.1 She was buried on 27 April 1772 at Dearham, Cumberland, England.1
     From 28 September 1745, her married name became Christian.2
     On her death, five years after that of her husband, she left 8 orphans, all children.1

     Dorothy Christian was born on 23 October 1757 at Ewanrigg Hall, Dearham, Cumberland, England.1 She was the daughter of John Christian and Jane Curwen.1 She married Major John Taubman, son of John Taubman and Esther Christian, on 20 December 1774.2 She died on 5 January 1784 at age 26 at The Nunnery Estate, Braddan, Isle of Man.1 She was buried in 1784 at Kirk Malew, Isle of Man.1
     From 20 December 1774, her married name became Taubman.2

     Major John Taubman was born in 1746 at The Bowling Green, Castletown, Isle of Man.1 He was the son of John Taubman and Esther Christian.1 He married Dorothy Christian, daughter of John Christian and Jane Curwen, on 20 December 1774.2 He died on 1 December 1822 at The Nunnery Estate, Braddan, Isle of Man.1 He was buried at Kirk Malew, Isle of Man.1
     In 1773 he bought The Nunnery from Deemster Peter Heywood.1 He held the office of Member of the House of Keys (M.H.K.).1 He held the office of Speaker of the House of Keys [Isle of Man].1
