     William Blamire held the office of High Sheriff of Cumberland in 1828.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cumberland in 1831.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for East Cumberland in 1832.1 He was a Tithe Commissioner in 1836.1
