Albert Fortescue Stewart was born at Athenree, County Tyrone, Ireland.1 He was the son of Sir John Marcus Stewart, 5th Bt. and Annie Coote.1,2 He married Marguerite Minnie Eva Christian, daughter of Rt. Hon. Jonathan Whitby Christian and Mary Christian Thomas, on 3 July 1902.3 He died on 25 November 1925, without issue.4
     He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.).4 He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.).4 He was , Lieutenant-Colonel Suffolk Regt, formerly Beds Regt, Boer War 1901–02 (despatches, medal with clasp), WW I (despatches, brevet), Order Leopold on 30 March 1868.3 He was Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1918.3 He was Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.3

     Sir John Marcus Stewart, 5th Bt. was born on 19 November 1830.2 He is the son of Sir Hugh Stewart, 2nd Bt. and Julia Gage.3 He married Annie Coote on 1 December 1856.2 He died on 26 February 1905 at age 74, with two sons (died in infancy):.2
     He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) County Tyrone.2 He gained the title of 5th Baronet Stewart, of Athenree, co. Tyrone. In 1858 High Sheriff , 6th Dragoons, Gentleman Usher to Ld-Lt Ireland.2
