     Edwin Sydney Buffett was born on 8 June 1920 at Norfolk Island.1 He was the son of Reuben Reginald Buffett and May Waterhouse.1 He married, firstly, Thyra Pauline Woolley.1 He married, secondly, Merryl Leicester Johnson.1 He died on 12 December 1987 at age 67 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.1
     Edwin Sydney Buffett gained the rank of Able Bodied Seaman in 1938 in the service of the Royal Australian Navy.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He retired from the military in 1950.2

     From 10 December 1949, her married name became Graham.2 From 25 November 1983, her married name became Ritchie.2
