     John Wordsworth was born on 4 December 1772 at Cockermouth, Cumberland, EnglandG.2,1,3 He was the son of John Wordsworth and Ann Cookson.1 He died on 5 February 1805 at age 32, drowned off Weymouth, while commanding the HEIC ship Earl of Abergavenny.1,3
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Honourable East India Company.1

Charles Wordsworth was born in 1806.1 He was the son of Christopher Wordsworth and Priscilla Lloyd.1 He married, firstly, Charlotte Day, daughter of Reverend George Day, in 1835.1 He married, secondly, Katherine Mary Barter, daughter of Reverend William Barter and Sarah Sweet-Escott, on 28 October 1846.1 He died in 1892.2
     He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)1 He held the office of Bishop of St. Andrews.1
