     Frances Vauriel Fenton Lister is the daughter of Major Francis Vivian Lister. She married Chandos Grenville Temple-Gore-Langton, 6th Earl Temple of Stowe, son of Captain Hon. Chandos Graham Temple-Gore-Langton and Frances Ethel Gore, on 3 July 1934. She and Chandos Grenville Temple-Gore-Langton, 6th Earl Temple of Stowe were divorced in 1940.
     Her married name became Temple-Gore-Langton.
