Amelia Christian was born at Milntown, Lezayre, Isle of Man.1 She was the daughter of Deemster Edward Christian and Dorothy Wilson.1 She married Captain Thomas Huddleston, son of Captain William Huddlestone and Elizabeth Radcliffe.1 She died on 28 August 1689 at Ballachot, Malew, Isle of Man, by committing suicide.1
Her married name became Huddleston.1 In 1689 the following entry appears in the Church Register of Malew, "Amelia Huddleston, wife of Captain Thomas Huddleston, alias Amelia Christian, cut her own throat in her own bed August 28th, and was buried in the nighttime, unknown, in the Chancel the next night without the knowledge of the Minister."1
