     Elizabeth Milbanke was the daughter of Sir Ralph Milbanke, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Hedworth.1 She married Sir Peniston Lamb, 1st Viscount Melbourne, son of Sir Matthew Lamb, 1st Bt. and Charlotte Coke, on 13 April 1769 at Bishop of Peterborough's house, Great George Street, Hanover Square, London, England. She died on 6 April 1818 at Melbourne House, Whitehall, London, England.1
     From 13 April 1769, her married name became Lamb.1
