Sir Walter Chetwynd was born at Ingestre, Staffordshire, England.3 He was the son of John Chetwynd and Marjory Middlemore.2 He married, firstly, Mary Mullins, daughter of John Mullins.1 He married, secondly, Lady Catherine Hastings, daughter of George Hastings, 4th Earl of Huntingdon, in 1605.1 He died on 21 May 1638.3
