     Dorothy Mavis Jones was born on 23 May 1913 at Porirua, New Zealand.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Jones and Anna Katrine Hansen.1 She married Arthur Gerald Fitzmaurice, son of Arthur James FitzMaurice and Henrietta Hane Fraser, on 28 March 1934 at St. James Church, Lower Hutt, New Zealand.1 She died on 11 March 1958 at age 44 at Hutt Hospital, Lower Hutt, New Zealand.1 She was buried on 13 March 1958 at Taita Cemetery, Lower Hutt, New Zealand.1
     From 28 March 1934, her married name became FitzMaurice.1

     James Arthur Fitzmaurice was born on 1 May 1935 at Moera, Lower Hutt, New Zealand.1 He is the son of Arthur Gerald Fitzmaurice and Dorothy Mavis Jones.1 He married Jill Frances Peterson, daughter of John Lewis Peterson and Sybil Frances Tapper, on 2 December 1960 at St. Mary's, Merivale, Christchurch, New Zealand.1
     James Arthur Fitzmaurice also went by the nick-name of Jim.1
