Captain John Pratt de Montmorency was born on 2 August 1873.3 He was the son of Waller de Montmorency and Mary O'Brien.2 He married Margaret Elinor Pym on 22 April 1908.3 He married Norah de Montmorency on 5 June 1934.4 He died on 11 November 1960 at age 87.3
Cmdr 1910 ret as.3 Commn 1926 County Kilkenny (acquired by Land ).3 County Kilkenny.3 Bennettsbridge.3 Recalled in World War I.3 Formerly of Castle Morres.3 He lived Burnchurch.3 County Kilkenny.4 He lived Burnchurch House.4 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He was Royal Navy.3 He was only dau of Colonel Mervyn de Montmorency, of Inch House, Kilkenny (see below).4 He was HMS Britannia, m Margaret Elinor (d 28 Aug 1832), eldest dau of Colonel Samuel Pym, RA. on 22 April 1908.3 He was Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1916.3 He was Officer Legion d'Honneur in 1917.3 He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) in 1920.3 In 1921 High Sheriff.3

Norah de Montmorency was born on 26 January 1902.1 She married Captain John Pratt de Montmorency, son of Waller de Montmorency and Mary O'Brien, on 5 June 1934.1
