     Charles Chase Raymond Nobbs was born on 27 August 1913 at Norfolk Island.1 He was the son of Charles Chase Ray Nobbs and Agnes Allen.1 He died at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.1
     (402295) Warrant Officer, Royal Australian Air Force. He enlisted in 1940,
was transferred to the reserve after the war, and served in the occupation
forces until he was discharged in 1947.1

     Janet and her daughters left Norfolk after the deaths of her two sons in
World War I.1 Her married name became Metcalfe.1

     Peter Herbert Metcalfe was born in 1854 at Brockdish, Diss, Norfolk, England.1 He married Janet Anne Lucy Nobbs, daughter of Fletcher Christian Nobbs and Susan Quintal, on 14 November 1883.1 He died on 18 April 1913 at Fanning Island.1 He was buried at Norfolk Island.1
     Peter served as resident medical officer on Norfolk from 1882-1913. He was
the son of Wallace Metcalfe & Mary Bramall. They lived in the family home
called 'Waveney', which is in 1993 part of the Castaway Hotel complex. He
died during a period when he agreed to relieve a doctor friend so that the
friend could go home to visit his mother.1 He was Physician.1

     Wallace Fletcher Metcalfe was born on 13 November 1884 at Norfolk Island.1 He was the son of Peter Herbert Metcalfe and Janet Anne Lucy Nobbs.1 He married Shirley Muriel Bagnall on 12 June 1912.1 He died on 18 June 1966 at age 81 at Auckland, New Zealand.1
     Educated at Wanganui Collegiate, New Zealand, and at St. Edward's School,
Oxford, England. He served on numerous public bodies.1 He was Sheep Farmer.1
